probably the neatest things that have happened in our family recently have to do with dylon. our little "pickle" is growing up! first, we found out somewhat recently that he made it into the Idaho Arts Charter school for Kindergarten this fall! Yeah! we have had our fingers crossed and i got goose bumps when the school called! he's all signed up and ready to go! not that i am ready for my baby to leave me, but since he has to i am glad that's where he'll be. He had PreK graduation last month and is so ready to go to "real" school.
second, dylon has been working so hard on memorizing his "articles of faith". Grandma told him if he learned all of them she'd get him something neat. He just finished the 13th last night and is ready to recite them ALL to her. i am so proud of him because when he sets his mind to something he doesn't stop until he's accomplished it.
and last, but for sure not least...
dylon competed in his first fiddle contest on may 30th. he palyed awesome, and placed 2nd!!! we were all sooo excited and proud of him, especially me, i'm sure. he LOVES his big trophy. he slept with it the first night, and carried it everywhere for 2 days. i am mostly happy that he is learning how hard work pays off. way to go dylon!
