The sweetest vacation this summer:

getting to see grandma was the best part.
the kids did great in the car: they came of with lots of ways to entertain themselves.

fish hatchery: the kids and aaron had fun touching the huge fish. i was amazed no one fell in.

alligator farm in hagerman: kind of scary. you can't really see them in this pic, but they looked hot and mean!

hagerman fossil beds: not as cool as we thought it might be.

malad gorge: aaron was getting too close to the edge for my comfort. it looks like he's closer than he really was but i was freaking out.

lunch at massacre rocks: dylon ate on the table because he thought he heard a rattle snake.

at the pocatello zoo: it was soooo hot that day!

zoo souveniers: of course they broke the next day.

picnicing in the park with aunt margaret: we had so much fun.

pocatello has a great waterpark. we played there all day! ...and granma was a trooper and held the baby most of the time for us so we could play.

pj and great grandma barrett:

register rock: on the way to pocatello.
the kids and grandma:

the most meaningful thing we got to do this summer was visit Great Grandma in pocatello.

i took the kids there (aaron was already in pocatello for football camp with columbia high) and we visited with grandma for 5 days. We stayed really busy and had tons of fun! we went to the zoo, and the waterpark, and a couple different parks for picnics. we visited aunt margaret at the museum and had dinner with her a few times at grandma's. it was special to spend the time with grandma, and we were able to have a few really good talks and i learned a few things i had never known about her so it was neat. on the way there and especially on the way home we took our time and stopped to see everything we possibly could. we saw some really neat things and had a great time. we were able to relax, enjoy the time as a family, and forget, for a short while, about all the craziness at home.
keep scrolling down....... i don't know what happened here!
keep going......
